Exactly 2 yards of Red-White-Blue Fabric, brought by my parents directly from Hong Kong. With each work I make, my supply lessens. I contemplate carefully before each trim. I scrimp and I save, trying to prolong the use of this dwindling, perishable material, my precious tangible connection to Hong Kong.
